Material, Synthesis and Discovery
Dr. Musa Najimu
Dr. Najimu is a material scientist with over 8 years experience in academia material R&D. He is also a coder - his coding work ranges from developing codes in multiple programming languages for machine learning application, model development and high throughput data analysis to writing PhD thesis in LaTex to developing and deploying Django project for this webpage. He is a startup founder and an entrepreneur.
With a PhD degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of California Irvine, Dr. Najimu is currently a Researcher of the DOE-EFRC UNCAGE-ME and a Postdoctoral Scholar - Research Associate under the Supervision of Prof. Kandis Leslie AbdulAziz at the University of Southern California, focusing on development of perovskite-based materials for clean energy production under non-ideal conditions. His previous research includes catalysts design for emissions control, physics-based model-informed material design and machine learning application for material discovery.
